      AbstractThe right of access to justice in environmental matters, which is essential for the transition to sustainable models of governance and living, is closely intertwined with the participatory rights of access to environmental information and public participation. The introduction of the AIE Regulations gives effect in Ireland to Directive /4/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on Public Access to Environmental Information (the AIE Directive).
